What is Quality Assurance?

Quality assurance may be defined as a methodical procedure used to develop products and services, and to confirm whether the products or services being built meet identified needs. Many organizations have an independent division dedicated to quality assurance. Quality assurance system enhances client faith and organization reliability, to develop product processes and their effectiveness, and to facilitate competition with others. Quality assurance was initiated in World War 2, when weapons and ammunition were inspected. Modern quality assurance techniques focus to detect faults, before completing the finished product.
